Two Men Face Charges Over Heathrow ‘Pepper Spray’ Attack
Two individuals are now facing charges related to a suitcase robbery where a suspected pepper spray resulted in harm at London's Heathrow Airport.
Tyrone Richards, 31, and Anton Clarke-Butcher, 24, have both been charged with two counts of robbery and two counts of using a harmful chemical, authorities have stated.
These accusations come after an probe of an assault at the multi-storey car park at Terminal 3 on Sunday. Before the assault occurred, two female travelers had their suitcases taken after getting out of a car park lift, according to law enforcement.
A toddler was one of the people hurt during the incident. A total of five individuals required hospital care and were eventually allowed to go home.
This event – described by police as was not part of a series and deemed non-terroristic – resulted in train delays and the temporary blocking of the Central Terminal Area tunnel and the T3 parking area for a brief period.
