Administration Condemns 'Democrat Hoax' as Additional Jeffrey Epstein Photos Released
Democratic lawmakers have published a fresh batch of what they labeled "alarming" photographs from the estate of convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein, featuring among others Donald Trump, Bill Clinton, and ex-UK prince Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor.
The initial drop of 19 photographs—a portion of which have been previously circulated—combined with another 70 issued later on Friday represent a small number of the approximately 100,000 images released to the House investigative panel, which is examining the actions and ties of Epstein.
The shamed investor was a victim of apparent suicide in a New York detention cell in 2019 after being accused of sex-trafficking charges.
Notable Figures in the Photos
Among the notable figures shown in the first release are celebrities including movie maker Woody Allen; Microsoft co-founder Bill Gates; and Richard Branson, founder of the Virgin conglomerate.
Donald Trump appears in three of the first nineteen images. In one, he is pictured with six women, whose faces are blacked out.
White House Response
The White House responded to the release in a statement, charging Democrats of selectively "choosing" the photographs for electoral motives and to "attempt to fabricate a false storyline."
"That partisan falsehood against President Trump has been consistently disproven," a White House spokesperson remarked, maintaining that "this presidency has done more for Epstein's survivors than Democrats have at any point by frequently urging openness, disclosing reams of records, and urging more inquiries into Epstein's Democratic associates."
Democratic Lawmaker Comment
The photos were published lacking captions, but as stated by a California Democrat and ranking member of the oversight committee, they elicit additional doubts about Epstein's connections to affluent people.
"It is time to halt this White House obfuscation and deliver justice to the survivors of Jeffrey Epstein and his well-connected allies," he declared in a statement.
The release of these images coincides with the House panel continuing its investigation into the Epstein case.
